Richard Canfield and Allison McIntire

Allison Brooks McIntire, Wilmington, N.C., and Richard Canfield, Charleston, S.C. are engaged to be married.

Ms McIntire is the daughter of Kenneth Allen and Martha Gregory McIntire of Wilmington, N.C. She is a graduate of Laney High School in North Carolina and is presently pursuing a paralegal degree at the College of Charleston, S.C.

Mr Canfield is the son of Richard T. and Angelina Canfield of Monroe. A graduate of Masuk High School, he attended Sacred Heart University and is now a manager at 9 Queen Street Restaurant in Charleston, S.C.

An August wedding is planned in Wilmington.
