Brookfield — The National Education Association (NEA) and Knowledge Learning Corporation presents Dr Seuss’ Birthday Celebrations on Friday, March 4, from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Peter Piper School, 1 Sunset Hill. Children are encouraged to come wearing their pajamas for a fun read-a-thon of Dr Seuss books with their families. The evening will include related craft activities; refreshments will be available.

The event is part of NEA’s ongoing “Read Across America” program. The program aims to motivate children to read in addition to helping them master basic skills. For more information, call 775-2955.
