Malpractice Reform Panel Discussion
HAMDEN â Six of the stateâs leading experts on medical malpractice reform will take part in a panel discussion on Wednesday, March 2, in the Grand Courtroom of the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center. This event is free and open to the public. It will run from 6 to 9 pm.
Leslie Gabel-Brett, PhD, executive director of the Connecticut Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, will moderate the panel, which will include Sultan Ahamed, MD, president and chairman, Connecticut Medical Insurance Co.; Leonard Ferrucci, MD, an OB/GYN in private practice; Kathleen Nastri, Esq, of Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, PC; Jean Rexford, executive director, Connecticut Patientsâ Rights and Connecticut Center for Patient Safety; Penny Seaman, Esq, of Wiggin & Dana; and State Senator Chris Murphy. State Senator Toni Harp also has been invited to participate.
