Marie Glantz, 85, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late David Glantz, died February 21 in St Vincent Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Sylvia Nahoum and her husband, Michael, of Newtown, Debby Tendler and her husband, Bob, of Newtown, Leonard Glantz and his wife, Lea, of Easton, Wendy Swain and her husband, Bob, of Stratford; grandchildren, Eran Glantz of Bridgeport, Ro Glantz and her husband, Bryan Robik, of Fairfield, Jedd Bogage and his wife, Lisa, of San Diego, Calif., Robin Delaney and her husband, Dave, of Stratford, Jonas Nahoum of San Francisco, Calif., Alexis Nahoum of New York City, Jared Tendler of Boston, Mass., Jessica Tendler of Stamford; great-grandchildren, Kyle Robik, Alex and Nicole Bogage, David, Alisa, and Catie Delaney; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born in Bridgeport on February 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Max and Bessie Udowitz. Mrs Glantz was a longtime area resident, as well as a resident of Boca Raton, Fla., for the past 15 years.
She was the owner of a vitamin and cosmetic business, Health Watcher. Mrs Glantz was an avid golfer and club champion at Longshore and Rolling Hills, runner, bridge player, and health food advocate. She was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Bridgeport.
Funeral services took place on February 23 in the Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield. Interment was in the Rodeph Sholom Cemetery, Kings Highway, Fairfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Home for the Elderly, 175 Jefferson Street, Fairfield CT 06825. Shiva was observed in the home of Len and Lea Glantz, Easton, on Thursday evening.
