Jazz Giants, For Children

FAIRFIELD — “Hangin’ with the Giants,” a high-energy, interactive program that introduces jazz greats and their music to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, will be presented Sunday, February 27, at 3 pm, at Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children. The engaging program merges animation with live music performed by Metta Quintet, and narration, giving young people a look at the names, faces and music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Dizzie Gillespie and plenty of others.
