Hi â my name is Millie and I sure would like for you to adopt me. Donât get me wrong; I love my foster family and they treat me like the royalty I know I am. But one of my foster momâs cats doesnât like to share so I canât come out of my room until my mom is home to protect me. My favorite thing in the whole world is lying at your feet while performing all kinds of antics to get your attention, like tickling your feet with my paw, wooing you with meows or doing flips. So as you might have guessed by now, Iâm definitely not an independent, loner-type and prefer a home where I will get lots of attention. Also I love other cats â except for that mean foster sister of mine â so if you have other cats, Iâm your girl. I might be a little shy at first, but I promise that as I grow to know you, I will light up your life. Oh yeah, here are some details: I just celebrated my first birthday; Iâm FIV and leukemia negative, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations; and I have the silkiest black fur youâve ever petted. Please call my foster mom at 426-1142 and let me go home with you soon. Oh yeah, there are many other cute cats like me at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society shelter, so you can call 744-DAWS or go to 147 Grassy Plain Street (Route 53) in Bethel weekdays from 6 to 8 pm or weekends from 2 to 4 pm.
