Be Cautious About Conclusions

To the Editor:

In the matter of the suspension of Newtown High School Choral Director Sabrina Post, I am appalled to read that some parents are blindly calling for her immediate reinstatement.

Do we not place any trust on our school administrators to make the right decisions on behalf of our children, while adhering to the need for confidentially in personnel-related issues? I for one would choose on the side of caution and expect that they must have a good reason for what may appear to be a hasty decision.
