Acura Hits Pole

Motorist James F. Repasi, Jr, 16, of 25 Chestnut Hill Road was driving a 1991 Acura Integra westward on Park Lane about 8:40 pm February 23, when while negotiating a curve, the Acura went out of control, crossed into the eastbound lane, left the eastbound road shoulder, and struck a utility pole, police report.

Repasi was not injured. Police issued him a written warning for making a restricted turn.

Lexus Vs Audi

Motorist Vincent Wojcik, 34, of 2 Bari Drive was driving a 1995 Lexus GS-300 sedan southward on Old Stream Road at about 8:12 am February 23 and then attempted to stop at a stop sign at Old Stream Road’s intersection with Orchard Hill Road, but slid on the snowy road and collided with an eastbound 2004 Audi A-8 sedan driven by Robert Bedoukian, 56, of Redding, police said.

There were no injuries. Police said they issued Wojcik a written warning for a stop sign violation and also issued him an infraction ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle.

Gasoline Leak

Motorist Jacqueline Ann Duguay, 34, of New Milford was driving a 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck southward near 157 Hanover Road about 7:35 am February 22, when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve and a struck a utility pole, police said.

The truck’s fuel tank ruptured in the accident and leaked several gallons of gasoline. Newtown Hook and Ladder firefighters went to the accident for a fuel spill cleanup.

Duguay was not injured. Police verbally warned her for making a restricted turn.
