A Caring Response

To the Editor:

Saturday night, February 12, our daughter Aimee was driving home on Boggs Hill Road, a road she seldom travels. She lost control of her car, causing it to flip over. We are fortunate that she only sustained minor injuries.

We would like to thank the couple that first came upon the scene of the accident, and cared for her until the police arrived. Aimee is unable to remember their names, but please know we are thankful for their help.

We would also like to thank our wonderful police, Dodgingtown firefighters, and ambulance EMTs. Aimee would like to especially thank Officers Costello and Robinson, and firefighter Joe for calming her down and being so caring. Also, Megan and Brenden, the EMTs that cared for her on the way to the hospital. They were all wonderful and made her feel comfortable.

As parents of a teenage driver, it is very reassuring to know that we have such experienced, but more importantly, caring emergency personnel and townspeople. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
