Waterbury — The Chase Collegiate School varsity wrestling finished seventh at the Western New England Independent School Wrestling Tournament, the best finish in Chase history, on February 11. Newtown resident Joe Praino, a Chase freshman and 132-pound grappler, had a thrilling come-from-behind victory in the consolation semifinals that helped  him advance to the next round, where he captured a fourth-place medal.
