Bobby Haskins

Haskins, a Newtown seventh-grader and travel basketball player, participated in the Future Stars Presidents’ Day Basketball Clinic, run by former NBA player Frank Oleynick, at Newtown Youth Academy. Favorite aspect of the clinic: “The example Frank sets for us and the lessons he gives us to follow to become better players.”

Toughest part of playing basketball: Dealing with losing.

When he’s not on the courts: Plays football and lacrosse.

Team he roots for: New York Knicks.

Favorite subject: History.

Food of choice: Steak.
