‘Last Comic’ Stand-Up At Treehouse, March 4

DANBURY — NBC TV’s reality comedy show Last Comic Standing scene-stealer and finalist Rich Vos will headline at The Treehouse Comedy Club on Saturday, March 4.

Mr Vos often stole the network television broadcast with his neurotic living habits in which the eight stand-up comedy competition finalists were forced to live in a house together in between comedy performances.

Mr Vos’s funny off stage commentary moved him to the forefront of the eight-week stand-up comedy competition hosted by Jay Mohr.

Mr Vos has spun his recent nationwide notoriety into more than 25 subsequent network and cable television appearances. He is now a regular on Colin Quinn’s Tough Crowds on Comedy Central, and has made a number of appearances on ABC-TV’s The View.

Mr Vos has also appeared in his own half hour comedy special in the Comedy Central Presents series, along with Comedy Central’s Dave Chappelle Show, Premium Blend and Tough Crowd Stand Ups.

Mr Vos also has the distinction of being the first white comic to ever appear on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. That performances led to additional crossover appearances on Showtime at the Apollo and on BET’s Comics View.

Back Stage Magazine says of Mr Vos, “He has an uncanny ‘Everyman’ ability to likeably bond with anyone in the audience … The excitement of a Rich Vos show comes from his unique, no-holds-barred perspective on relationships, divorce and parenthood.”

The Treehouse is within the upper level of The New Sorrento, 32 Newtown Road (Route 6).

Showtime is 8 pm, and tickets are $17.50. Kevin Bartini will be offering the opening set.

To reserve tickets call the Treehouse/ New Sorrento reservation line at 744-5575 or go online to TreehouseComedy.com.
