Katie Schmidt tossed in 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Blue Bengals defeated Team Aqua in recent Senior Girls Basketball League action.

Kelley Sullivan dished off five assists and Bethany Morin made eight steals for the Bengals. For Aqua, Rose Jackman popped in 14 points while Jen Brill added 10. Paula Wayer, Rachel Eastman and Natalie Porter played well.

Amy Kelley canned 14 points and Melissa Mason dished off 10 assists to lead Team Solid to a 29-25 win over The Shock. Kara Whipkey had four steals and Katie Herwig grabbed nine boards. Rachel Fossum was strong on D. For The Shock, Emily Fields canned 16 points as Rachel Cox 95 assists), Bridie Rubino (3 steals) and Lauren Picerno (6 rebounds) played well. Kristene Salbu and Mary Ober had solid efforts.

Rachel Marlin scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Caitlin Hansen added 10 points to lead the Cornhuskers to a 36-34 win over Paul Anka. Erin Nemeth and Lauren Nemeth played well. For Anka, Rachel Maley and Meagan Kelly tossed in 10 points apiece while Marnie Thompson made seven steals.
