Gala Art Auction Being Planned

SOUTHBURY — David O’Reilly of Mahopac, N.Y., will be the featured artist at a gala art auction to be presented by Southbury Junior Women’s Club (SJWC) on Saturday, March 4, at the Southbury Volunteer Fire Department Hall, at 7 pm.

An 11-by-14-inch oil on canvas donated by the artist will be auctioned at the event. Entitled “Early Spring” the original work depicts the covered bridge in Sheffield, Mass. Mr O’Reilly will attend the event.

Auction proceeds will benefit charitable causes supported by SJWC. Tickets are $10 and are on sale now. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
