Anna Kopchik, 88, of Southbury, died Sunday, February 12, at Waterbury Hospital.
Survivors include a nephew, Robert Kopchik and his wife, Rosemary, of Newtown; her sister, Mary Belush of Southbury; her brother, George Kopchik of Bethel; two nieces, Carol Matuszewski and her husband, Charles, of Cape Coral, Fla., and Karen Coughlin and her husband, Paul, of Clinton, and their children, Kelly and Kristin Coughlin.
Born in Granville, N.Y., to John and Susan Krafchik Kopchik, Ms Kopchick was a resident of Stratford for many years before moving to Southbury. She was a retired assembler for General Electric Company.
She was a member of the Mothers and Daughters Club and Seniors at St Johnâs Church. She was also a member of the Women of the World Society.
Ms Kopchick was a very loving, dear, and caring person and will be missed by many.
Funeral services were held in St John the Baptist Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, Bridgeport. Interment was in St Johnâs Cemetery, Stratford.
