Agnes L. Foley, 87, of Ridgefield, wife of the late Thomas Foley, Sr., died February 20, at Bethel Health Care.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Christine Platt and her husband, John, of Sandy Hook; Thomas Foley, Jr, and his wife, Joan, of Danbury; Patricia Salvestrini of Florida; and Michael Foley of Danbury; a sister and best friend Ethel Brown of Ridgefield; her loving grandchildren: Alan Foley, Shea Foley, Kathy Batterton, Deb Knoche, Dave Knoche, Stephanie Jackson, Erika Salvestrini, Jason Platt, Amy Platt, Steve Platt, and Morgan Foley, six great grandchildren, a niece and two nephews.
Mrs Foley was born in New Canaan, June 26, 1918, daughter of Harry and Lucy (Austin) Isaacs. She was raised in New Canaan and graduated from New Canaan High School.
Mrs Foley was a Ridgefield resident for more than 50 years and was a member of St Maryâs Parish.
In addition to her parents and husband, a sister, Edith Kendall, predeceased her.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Bethel Health Care for their love, care, and compassion, which meant so much to Agnes and us. They are a truly wonderful group of people who will never be forgotten.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St Maryâs Church, Ridgefield. Burial followed in St Maryâs Cemetery, Ridgefield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association, 90 East Ridge, Ridgefield CT 06877.
Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, was in charge of arrangements.
