Hawley 4th Grade: Asia Unit Set To Start
Hawley 4th Grade: Asia Unit Set To Start
By Laura Konkos and
Jenna Moser
Laura Konkos and Jenna Moser interviewed the fourth grade teachers and students for the newest, truest story. All fourth grade classes are starting their Asia unit and they are focusing on Japan. All the fourth grade classes also made didjeridoo (itâs an instrument). They had a man named Byron Eddy who came and played on his real didjeridoo for the fourth grade.
Mrs Maloneâs class is doing good in writers workshop and are very creative in Spirit of Inquiry. Mr Haberâs class is writing entries to try to come up with a seed idea. His class is also making posters about themselves in Spirit of Inquiry. Mrs Tracyâs class is doing wonderful in math. They are having a unit on solid shapes and are practicing multiplying single and double digit numbers.
Weâd like to make a shout out to Jimmy Gaston for his 10th birthday, Jenny Sampson for her 10th birthday, Chris Schreiber for his 10th birthday and the wonderful teacher Mrs Tracyâs birthday on February 14th. Happy Birthday!!
Laura Konkos and Jenna Moser also interviewed Allison Rambone in Mrs Maloneâs class and Emma Akinson in Mrs Gallagherâs class to learn how they feel about school. They are both so happy they got the teachers they wanted. Even though they jump up and down when there is a snow day, spirit still comes to them when schools open. We donât blame them.
Now that we gave you the info on the fourth graders, Laura Konkos and Jenna Moser would like to say, âgood-bye and good-night.â
