Family: My husband Jeff and a very large Italian family that I love dearly.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I coach gymnastics, spend time at the beach, and love to travel.

What is your favorite book? My favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? Newtown Board of Education.

Who or what has been the greatest influence in your life? My mom who was a very successful and well respected principal.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? Simone Biles because she is the best gymnast of all time.

Who is your favorite musical artist? Darius Rucker.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? Take things one day at a time and live in the moment.

What is something you cannot live without? Sour Patch Kids.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Completing my Doctorate.

What is a meal/recipe your family has passed down to you? Italian Cookies.

What is a tradition your family does that is important to you? We all spend Christmas Eve together.
