Restoring And Renovating Existing Gardens
Cathy Beauregard will present her program, âRestoring and Renovating Existing Gardens,â to the members of The Garden Club of Newtown on Tuesday, February 26, at 1 pm. The program will be in the lower meeting room of Cyrenius H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street in Newtown. Non-members are invited to attend, free of charge.
In her talk, Ms Beauregard will outline the steps necessary to successfully accomplish garden restoration or renovation. She has worked on historic rose gardens as well as public parks and arboretums and on private estates in Fairfield County, and also in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties in New York state.
A resident of Bethel, Ms Beauregard is a graduate of the prestigious New York Botanical Gardenâs School of Professional Horticulture and is an instructor at the New York Botanical Gardens as well as a guest lecturer for local garden clubs. She has worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years and currently has her own business, Beauâs Bouquets & Horticultural Therapy Gardens.
