The Newtown Womenâs Softball League will be having sign-ups on Thursday, March 9, and Wednesday, March 22, from 6 to 8 pm at the Newtown Middle School cafeteria. In order to be eligible to play, you must be 18 years of age (by June 1), a Newtown resident (or work in Newtown). Proof of residency must be shown. If one individual plans to register an entire team, a roster must be submitted with proof of residency for each player. A $5 registration fee is required. Youth Lacrosse Coaches Sought

The Newtown Youth Lacrosse Association is seeking coaches for its boysâ and girlsâ teams. Experience in the game is helpful, but not required. U16 Travel Softball

A 16-and-under girlsâ traveling softball team (name still undetermined) will be holding tryouts for the summer 2000 season. Any players interested in participating should call Frank Bonacci at 426-3361 for further details on sites and times.
Breeze Has One Roster Spot Open

Southbury U14 Soccer Tryouts

The Southbury Scorpions Premier U14 Boys soccer team, sponsored by the Southbury Soccer Club, will hold tryouts to fill two open slots for the Spring 2000 season.
