Violet Hall

Violet Hall, 68, of Knottingham Towers, Waterbury, died February 21 at her home. She was the wife of the late Elmer Hall.

She was the mother of Alan Hall of Newtown.

She was born in Binghamton, N.Y. October 12, 1931, a daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Hulse.

Mrs Hall lived in Danbury for many years before moving to Waterbury four years ago.

She was a past member of the Brookfield VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She is also survived by another son, Dale Hall of Waterbury; a daughter, Gail Tompkins of Brewster, N.Y.; a brother, Carl Hulse of Arizona; a sister, Ann Bried of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held February 24 at the Homestead. Burial will be in the spring.

The Tomlinson Homestead, 336 Main Street Danbury, was in charge of arrangements
