Timothy “Timmy” McCarroll
Timothy “Timmy” McCarroll, age 59, of Sandy Hook, passed away Friday, February 18, with his family by his side.
Born June 6, 1962, in Danbury, Conn., he was the son of the late Timothy McCarroll and the late Gail Russell McCarroll Heneghan.
Timmy leaves behind his loving wife, Kimberly (Peck) McCarroll. He is also survived by his stepfather, Michael Heneghan of Southbury; sisters, Terry McCarroll Heneghan of Kentucky and Tara McCarroll of Brookfield; and his brother, Michael (Mikey) Heneghan of Southbury. He is predeceased by his sister, Tracy McCarroll Fisher. Timmy is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews; his mother-in-law, Jo Ann Peck, whom Tim and his wife resided with; and brother-in-law David Peck.
Timmy was an avid lifelong fisherman and outdoorsman. He adored his cats, Molly and Tucker. Feeding the birds and going up to watch the bald eagles were just a few of his pastimes.
He was a member of the Danbury VFW Auxiliary Post 149.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Timmy on Saturday, February 26, at 2 pm, at the Danbury VFW, 5 Byron Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
