Kenneth Dempsky
Kenneth Edmund Dempsky, 79, of Newtown died February 18. Mr Dempsky was the husband of Carole (Newton) Dempsky. He was born in Wauwatosa, Wis., and raised in Racine, Wis., by his adoptive parents Rosalind and MaximillionÃÂ Dempsky.
Mr DempskyÃÂ graduated from St Patricks' Elementary School, St Catherine's High School, and the University of Wisconsin with a BA in chemistry.
Previously of Portland, Ore.; Detroit, Mich.; and Weston; he worked for SC Johnson, Hercules, Ciba-Energy, and Reichhold Chemicals. Mr Dempsky started his own company, K&S Industries, which began in the early 1990s and was dissolved a few years ago.
Mr DempskyÃÂ was an avid angler and fished extensively in Alaska and Canada. He also loved skiing.
In addition to his wife, his sons, Robert of Norwalk and Brandon of Waterbury, survive him.
Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Friday, February 23, from 5 to 7 pm, with a service to be at 6 pm.
