WWII US Army Veteran

Robert G. Flora, Sr, 81, of Fairfield, the beloved husband of Ellen Ryan Flora, died February 14. Born in Lancaster, Penn., Mr Flora was a US Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his loving children and their spouses, including Michele and Curt Logan of Newtown. 

Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver with the Teamsters. He enjoyed spending time with his family and lived his life to the fullest. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was held February 18. Interment followed in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield with Military Honors.
