David DeSoto

 and Alicia Rogers

A July 2009 wedding is being planned for engaged couple Alicia Lynn Rogers and David Russell DeSoto, both of Dallas, Texas.

The future bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert L. Rogers of Sandy Hook.

She a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School, and will graduate from the University of North Texas in May with a bachelor’s of music in music education. She is currently a student teacher at Hebron (Texas) High School.

The future groom is the son of Hugh DeSoto and the late Leslie DeSoto of Columbia, S.C.

A 2001 graduate of Irma High School, David then graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006 with a bachelor’s of music in music education. He is an assistant band director at Plano West Senior High School.
