Friendship Evangelism Training Set

DANBURY — Classes will begin Sunday, February 25, in “Friendship Evangelism,” a program that precedes the upcoming “Mission Connecticut with Luis Palau” events set for May and June throughout the state.

World evangelist Dr Luis Palau is bringing a series of free, family-oriented celebrations featuring “great music and good news” to many western Connecticut cities including Danbury in May and June. The Danbury festival will be May 31 through June 2 at the O’Neill Center.

“Friendship Evangelism” equips Christians to reach out and share their faith with others. Christian entertainers who are booked to perform at the festivals include Jaci Velasquez, Audio Adrenalme, DC Talk, Kirk Franklin, and Rebecca St James.

Admission to the two-hour classes is free. They will be held in Danbury on February 27, from 7 to 9 pm at Bright Clouds Ministry, 18 Clapboard Ridge Road; on March 1, from 7 to 9 pm at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel; and on March 3, from 9 to 11 am at First Baptist Church, 460 Main Street, Brewster, N.Y.
