Maureen Crimmins Boyle passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in her home in Sandy Hook after an illness of several years.

Maureen was the wife of Michael Boyle for 54 years. Maureen is survived by her twin daughters, Bridget August and Kathleen Boyle Dalen (Jason Dalen); sister Kathleen Vervier; brother Thomas Crimmins; and sister-in-law Geraldine Boyle.

Maureen was born in Weehawken, N.J. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola University (Chicago). Following graduation, Maureen worked in the publishing industry until giving birth to her daughters. Several years later Maureen worked as a preschool teacher, and as a dental assistant. Until her health failed Maureen walked outside over 50 miles a week. She thoroughly enjoyed The Walking With Purpose Bible Program at St Rose. Maureen was very passionate about helping others build a relationship with Jesus.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 25, at 10:30 am, for a Mass of Christian Burial at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road in Newtown.
