Newtown Action Alliance (NAA) is planning an informative, fun, and interactive beer tasting event to be enjoyed by participants from the safety of their homes.

The NAA Beer Tasting Fundraiser is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, from 7 to 8 pm. A 30-minute bonus time for additional networking/socializing and speaking with the brewers is also part of the evening.

Anyone age 21 and over is invited to attend the event, which will include six craft beers to be tasted, a snack, “and Newtown Action Alliance swag,” according to a February 5 e-mail blast. Local breweries Newsylum of Newtown and Lock City of Stamford will each present three craft beers.

Scheduled host of the event is Mike Song, whose son Ethan was 15 years old when he died after accidentally shooting himself with an unsecured gun in 2018.

Cost is $100 per person for those who register by Friday, March 5. Late registration will be accepted until Thursday, March 11, at an additional cost of $30.

Registration can be done through bit.ly/naabeertasting. Instructions to join the event will be sent following completed registration.
