Stefan Stilu

Stefan Stilu, 84, of Avon Avenue, Waterbury, died February 13 at Waterbury Hospital.

Mr Stilu was born May 28, 1916, in Discniza, Koritza, Albania, son of the late Nicola Stilu. Mr Stilu came to the United States at the age of 28. He had made his home in Putnam, Newtown, and Waterbury.

He leaves two nephews, Demitri Jim Stilu of Putnam and Punta Gorda, Fla.; and Triani Stilu of Miami; one niece, Ruth Bates of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Thompson; two cousins, Espacia Chiacu of Bridgeport, and Jennie Muzea of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and several cousins in Romania. He was predeceased by a brother, Tamy Stilu.

Funeral services were private with burial in Grove Street Cemetery in Putnam at the convenience of the family.

The Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, was in charge of the arrangements.
