BPW Offers Scholarships

The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Newtown is offering two $1,000 scholarships to women from Newtown and surrounding communities.

Women 25 years or older are invited to seek this financial support for the purpose of beginning or continuing their education by attending a university, college, or vocational school. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Scholarship applications are available at the Cyrenius Booth library, or through Laura Mayer, 426-8669, and Ann LoBosco, 426-0472.

Applications will also be available at the March 5 Business and Professional Women’s Club meeting at the Inn at Newtown. 

Deadline for applications is April 13.  Scholarships will be awarded in May.
