Helen “Ronnie” Raino, 79, beloved wife of the late Gilbert Raino, died February 16 in Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Bridgeport for 72 years. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., October 23, 1935.

Her two devoted sons, Michael Raino, and his wife Mari Raino, of Newtown and John Raino, and partner Millie Diaz, of Bridgeport; her brother Edward McNally of Florida; her sister and brother-in-law Susan and Richard Jocis of Stratford; her loving grandchildren Mathew, Jeffery, Stacey, and Robert; two great-granddaughters and her great-grandson, soon to be born; and several nieces and nephews survive Ms Raino. Her son Richard Raino; her brother John McNally; and her parents Edward and Mary McNally predeceased her.

She retired from Bergin Brunswick.

Ms Raino was active in St Andrew’s Church, loved gardening, playing bingo, and being with her friends at the Senior Center.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, February 19, at 2:30 pm, in St Andrews Church, 395 Anton Street, Bridgeport.  Interment will be private. Calling hours will take place Thursday morning, from 11 am until time of service, in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bethany Senior Center, 20 Thorme Street, Bridgeport CT 06606, or to St Andrew’s Church.
