For just a few more days, local residents can enjoy “Life Studies: pastel paintings & drawings” at Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury.A solo exhibition of works by the portrait artist Laura Bleau, the collection is on view until February 21.Ms Bleau, a longtime resident of Newtown, works in pastel focusing on portraiture and figurative works in the tradition of classical realism, working primarily from life in natural light.
