Art By Secondary School Students At KAA Gallery

KENT — The Gallery at Kent Art Association will host the 16th annual secondary school Student Show for two weekends.

Art teachers from northwestern Connecticut and mid Hudson New York have entered their public and independent secondary school students’ artwork in the fine art show. The exhibition will be on view Saturdays and Sundays, February 26 to March 6, noon to 4 pm each day.

On Saturday, February 26, an awards reception will be hosted by Kent Art Association. Awards will be presented at 2 pm, refreshments will be served, and all are invited to attend the celebration.

The exhibition highlights the amazing creativity of young artists and gives them the opportunity to show their work in a gallery.  One year Kent Art Association memberships and $25 prizes will be awarded for excellence.

The show was judged by KAA Past President Connie Horton and prize winning artist Scott Bricker.  Carolyn Fisher and Louise Hofsdal curated the show.
