Retirement Planning For Entrepreneurs

WESTPORT — “Retirement Income Planning for Entrepreneurs” will be the topic of an Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network (EWN) morning roundtable discussion on March 9 at the Peppermill Restaurant, 1700 Post Road East.

The event will be from 8:15 to 10 am. It was rescheduled from January due to inclement weather.

The speaker will be Gillian Anderson, a licensed independent investment advisor and retirement income specialist. Ms Anderson works with individuals and small business owners to construct a retirement plan that will enable them to have a solid foundation for meeting their long-term goals.

Her focus is on building trust, encouraging a sound understanding of personal financial goals and risk tolerance, and empowering individuals to succeed in retirement. Prior to working independently, Ms Anderson had a career in banking and the capital markets for more than 20 years with GE Capital, Bank of America, and Citicorp.

Guests and prospective members are invited to attend the event. Cost is $15 for nonmembers and $12 for members, with a $3 walk-in charge for those without a reservation.
