In A Different Light

To the Editor:

The author of a February 1 letter in The Bee was concerned about a 12-year-old being exposed to the realities of life and death, specifically abortion. The same letter stated that Planned Parenthood (PP) is not just about abortion.

It is true that PP is not just about abortion. Given access to our schools, they have been known to pass out free condoms and teach the kids graphically about the joy and mechanics of fornication. Often these children are even younger than 12 years old! With this training, they well may become future customers for PP.

You see, PP is by far the largest abortion “provider” in our country. Consider the seldom-stated fact that abortion is the #1 cause of death in our country, not heart disease, not cancer. Abortions represent more than one third of all the deaths in the United States. Puts PP in a different light, doesn’t it?

It is outrageous that this organization (PP) receives $250 million per year of our tax money! I say, defund Planned Parenthood.
