Anthony Pajk And Branson Honored By WestConn

Sandy Hook resident Anthony Pajk, president of Branson Ultrasonics Corp, received the 2005 WestConn Society Community Service Award in recognition of his contributions to Western Connecticut State University and his commitment to the greater Danbury region at a recent ceremony.

Citing the strong partnership that exists between Branson and the university, WestConn President Dr James W. Schmotter also commended Mr Pajk for his company’s role as a good citizen in the community.

Attending the 17th annual award ceremony were Dr Schmotter, Mr Pajk and his wife, Norma; Edward Samuels, senior vice president and general manger of applied technologies worldwide; Richard Gehrin, vice president and general manager of Branson North America; Anthony Prioreschi, vice president of operations; Sonny Morneault, manager of acoustic development and engineering; Ann Laudadio, executive administrative secretary; Arleen Schilb, credit and collections analyst; Jon Harman, vice president and general manager of precision processing; Byron Peterson, vice president of human resources; and Mark Skitzki, manager of planning and business development;

Branson is a Danbury-based division of the Emerson Electric Corp of St Louis, Mo., with 70 sales and service offices employing more than 1,800 people worldwide. The Danbury location is staffed by 300 employees, many of whom are WestConn graduates.
