To the Editor:

The C.H. Booth Library budget [request] will be under scrutiny by the Board of Finance (BOF) and the Legislative Council (LC).

There seems to be a push to make cuts that will most likely affect the library budget. The C.H. Booth Library and its staff are an important part of not only the history of our town, but its future.

The library constantly reinvents itself to keep up with the needs and wants of our citizens. This is possible only with our support.

If any residents could attend meetings to support the library budget or contact the members of BOF and LC, you would be doing a great service for our town.
