Some Questions

To the Editor:

I have some questions regarding Ron Bienkowski’s answers to the Board of Ed on Tuesday, February 7. They had asked him why he paid one of the Ann Baldwin invoices out of the Membership account, when it was clearly not a “membership” item.

Mr Bienkowski responded that since there was an open purchase order to CABE he simply paid the invoice out of that.

My questions are: What specifically, was that open invoice intended to pay? Why was it not used for this purpose? How is this proper accounting?

Also, Ron, chewing gum while addressing the board? Really? What a fine, professional example you set.
