‘Help Us Evolve!’ Project

Newtown-based Project Evolution Apparel, LLC (PEA), an evolutionary clothing company, recently teamed up with three local artists to create its organic spring collection. And on January 28, in cooperation with KickStarter.com, PEA launched the “Help Us Evolve!” campaign.

“We asked three local artists to create a piece of art based on an idea that helps expand our current projects,” said Ross Brier, founder and creative director. “The result birthed a trio of unique designs: The Thinking Monkey, The Last Chisel Tooth, and The Yin-Yang Earth.”

Mr Brier said his hope is that people will be drawn in by the artwork and then uncover the message of why the design is what it is.

Project Evolution Apparel uses organic and sustainable materials along with water-based inks in most of its collection. Helping to promote sustainability and environmental awareness is key in both their production and philosophy.

“Through the ‘Help Us Evolve!’ KickStarter.com campaign, anyone can back the project for as little as one dollar.
