Joseph John Ventrilio, 95, of Sandy Hook, died February 11. He was born in Bridgeport, July 9, 1916, a son of Salvatore and Rosina Signore Ventriglia, and lived in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Monroe, and Sandy Hook.
A former toolmaker, he was the owner of Monroe Gardens and Greenhouses in Monroe.
A loving parent and grandparent, he is survived by his daughter, Dolores Pace of Sandy Hook, and a son, Robert Ventrilio of Newtown; three grandchildren; a brother, Franco Ventriglia, and his wife Jean; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret Palsa Ventrilio; brothers Angelo, Nicholas, and Charles and his sisters Mary and Jenny.
Funeral services took place February 15. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
