Alice Stevens, 86, died February 13, at Masonicare at Newtown.  She was born May 9, 1925, in North Reading, Mass., a daughter of Alice and Albert Neidick. The wife of the late Edward Stevens, Mrs Stevens was a longtime Newtown resident.

She leaves three children, Edward Stevens, Jr, and his wife Renee, of Georgia, Marianne Matejek of Missouri, and Lorraine Bresson, and her husband Fred, of Florida; one sister, Kathleen Frost of New Milford; one brother, Albert Neudeck of California; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was scheduled for Friday, February 17, at 12:30 pm, in Newtown Village Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.
