Healthy Hearts Club Will Explore Congestive Heart Issues

BRIDGEPORT — “Congestive Heart Failure” will be the topic of the next St Vincent’s Healthy Hearts Club meeting on Wednesday, March 1, at 7 pm. The meeting will be in the Hawley Conference Center located on the main level of St Vincent’s Medical Center.

The presentation is open to the public, free of charge.

Featured speaker will be Dr Robert Jumper, MD.

Patients with congestive heart failure suffer from a buildup of fluids in their body as the heart loses its ability to pump blood. Patients subsequently have trouble sleeping, walking, or even moving.

St Vincent’s Healthy Hearts, open to all cardiac patients and their families and friends, present programs on a different cardiac-related topic each month. Registration is not needed.

Parking is free in the lot immediately in front of St Vincent’s or in the Hunting Street parking garage.

For further information, call St Vincent’s CareLine toll free at 877-255-7847.
