Shaine Luzietti, a defender at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., has been recognized as a USA Lacrosse Division III Men’s Preseason All-American. Luzietti received Honorable Mention recognition. Preseason All-Americans are compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with consultation from college coaches.

Luzietti, a senior studying economics who was a standout at Newtown High School, started in 18 games last spring. He had 28 ground ball scoops and led the team with 15 caused turnovers. Luzietti was an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention.
