Michael T. Meehan, 84, of Newtown died February 14 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ann (McPherson) Meehan. He was born in Bridgeport, June 8, 1930, and was the son of the late Anna (Sheiner) and Michael Meehan.

Mr Meehan loved sports, especially the Yankees and Giants. He enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.

In addition to his wife, a sister, Dorothy Taylor, and two nephews and two nieces survive Mr Meehan.

Mr Meehan is remembered as “one of the good guys,” and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

His family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Bridgeport Hospital surgical intensive care unit.
