Mary Reinhardt Cox

Mary Reinhardt Cox, 73, of Heritage Village, died suddenly after a brief illness at Danbury Hospital on February 14.

She was the mother of David Reinhardt of Newtown.

Born in Chicago, Mrs Cox was a teacher in the New Canaan Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1989 when she moved to Southbury with her late husband, Bernard Reinhardt. She was an active member of the Heritage Village Computer Club and served on the Board of Trustees there. She was also a lifelong member of P.E.O. and belonged to North Church in Woodbury.

Mrs Cox is also survived by her husband of six years, Edward Cox; two other sons, Calvin Deater of Santa Fe and Andrew Reinhardt of Redding; and two grandchildren, Andrea and Jeffrey Reinhardt of Newtown.

A memorial service will be held at North Church in Woodbury on Sunday, February 20, at 2 pm.
