Rotary Inducts Three New Members

The Rotary Club of Newtown recently held induction ceremonies for its three newest members: Mary Griffin, Duane Giannini, and Joe Hemingway.

Mr Hemingway is a project manager for the Fusco Corporation. He was also recently reelected to the District 2 Legislative Council in Newtown and has been involved in many other organizations in Newtown. His membership was sponsored by Rotarian Alan Clavette.

Mr Giannini is vice president of human resources for Newtown Savings Bank. He was recently elected to the Newtown Board of Police Commissioners. His membership was sponsored by John Trentacosta.

Ms Griffin is president of TR Paul Inc, an employee benefit administration company based in Newtown. She also serves on the board of directors of Danbury Visiting Nurse Association, the CBIA-Small Business Advisory Council, Center for Family Business, and the Society of Professional Benefits Administrators.  Her membership was also sponsored by Mr Trentacosta.

Rotary is made up of men and women who are in business and professions in the local community. Their efforts and belief in the concept of “Service Above Self” provide support for many organizations and individuals to have a better life.
