The Perfect Time For A ‘Love Letter’

RIDGEFIELD — The Hollister Movie Series at Ridgefield Library continues its February celebration of romance with a twist with The Love Letter, starring Kate Capshaw, Blythe Danner, Ellen DeGeneres and Tom Selleck.

A sleepy New England town is roused from its slumber when an unaddressed and unsigned love letter makes its way into the hands of a number of the townspeople. The letter, deeply romantic and moving, seems to cast its spell on each of the lives it touches.

Like a letter caught in the breeze, the story takes unexpected twists and turns, and numerous miscommunications and misunderstandings ensue. Just as it does to every one of its unwitting recipients, The Love Letter teases the viewer with the magic and whimsy of romantic promise.
