Re-Licensing Courses

WATERBURY — Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC) is currently offering courses for salespersons and brokers to complete their required 12 hours of Continuing Education. Real Estate Continuing Education courses at NVCC are directed at professional real estate and appraisal license renewal requirements and offer quality seminars and convenient schedules.

CT Law and Fair Housing is a required course for brokers and salespersons. State of Connecticut Real Estate legal requirements, referral fees, and tax issues dealing with re-evaluation will be discussed. The cost of the course is $35. Section 1 will run on March 11 from 7:30 am to 10:30 am; Section 2 will run March 30 from 6 to 9 pm; and Section 3 will run April 8 from 7:30 to 10:30 am.

NVCC has expanded its curriculum to better serve real estate professionals. New courses include: Historic Properties, Contracts, Environmental Issues for Today’s Real Estate Practice, and Land Use and Control.

Attend one of two NVCC Super Saturdays and save over $40 on registration fees. On March 11 or April 8 from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, receive 12 Continuing Education credits in one day. Four courses will be covered: CT Law and Fair Housing Update, Real Estate Contracts, Land Use of Real Estate and Mandatory CT Appraisal and Law Update.
