Arneth Named Branch Manager

RIDGEFIELD — Gavin Arneth of Newtown has been named branch manager of the Ridgefield branch at People’s Bank. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch.

Mr Arneth joined People’s in 1998, as a management trainee. Prior to his current position, he was branch manager at the Summer Street branch in Stamford at People’s. Before joining the bank, he served five years as a police officer with the Milford Police Department. He also served as branch manager, assistant treasurer at Apple Bank in New York City.

Mr Arneth has a bachelor’s degree in economics and English from Guilford College of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is an active member of the United Way, the Danbury Chamber of Commerce, and the Newtown Congregational Church.
