Arneth Named Branch Manager

RIDGEFIELD — Gavin Arneth of Newtown has been named branch manager of the Ridgefield branch at People’s Bank. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch.

Mr Arneth joined People’s in 1998, as a management trainee. Prior to his current position, he was branch manager at the Summer Street branch in Stamford at People’s. Before joining the bank, he served five years as a police officer with the Milford Police Department. He also served as branch manager, assistant treasurer at Apple Bank in New York City.

Mr Arneth has a bachelor’s degree in economics and English from Guilford College of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a member of the United Way, the Danbury Chamber of Commerce, and the Newtown Congregational Church.
